Superman Timeline and Mythology

We all know that the Smallville and Lois and Clark TV series seriously screws that Superman Mythology. A comprehensive essay about the Superman mythology can be read here - with most of it being based on DC comics. And by the way here is a timeline of the DC Comic Universe with all the various characters like Batman and WonderWoman together with Superman.
