Channel 9 is currently showing Superman Three: Superman vs. Superman... made in 1983! A little slow to start though. The plot is messy. The scene where Superman splits into two was good. One: the Good Clark Kent and the other the Evil Man of Steel. I guess this theme was repeated in a Smallville episode where Clark becomes evil. It was also interesting how the movie explores the dangers of computer hackers using those old mainframe dummy terminals to do some damage (although farfetched - where they had a weather satellite change the weather). The movie does have an interesting cast. Annette O'Toole stars coincidentally as Lana Lang - Clark's sweetheart in high school if you go with the comic mythology for Superman. Annette O'Toole stars as Clark's Mum in the current Smallville series. Then we have Robert Vaughn - He's currently staring in a British series called "Hustle". This series is usually aired on ABC (Channel 2) in Australia. Its a series about a group of grifters pulling some scams - always an entertaining watch. Robert Vaughn has been in the acting game since 1955. Then we have the comic relief/hacker Richard Pryor. I don't remember any specific movies with him, but he always plays a comical character in all the movies I can remember him from. Looking forward to watch Superman Returns!
