Still looking at the job pages for photography related jobs. Why? I'm just interested in what kind of jobs are out there for photographers and people who are interested in photographic arts. Also, its also interesting to observe what the business of photography requires. They need: photographers, assistants, graphic designers and sales people. Graphic Designer - Up to $65K plus Super

Excellent career opportunity exists within an International Sporting Goods wholesaler that has sales in excess of $500 million USD internationally. Your role as the Graphic Designer, will work closely with the Marketing Manager and see you accountable for all product packaging artwork and web design. Whilst also attending to ad hoc IT duties. Located in Bankstown, which gives you the chance to work closer to home.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

* Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and /or Dream Weaver
* Excellent knowledge of Access, Excel
* Possess a Creative flare, with the ability to think outside the square
* Excellent time management – Proven multitask skills
* Digital photography experience an asset
* ASP.NET – Desirable

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager for AAP Image.

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Commercial Division, the Business Manager is responsible for driving the sales and growth of AAP Image. Leading a small team of sales professionals, you will be responsible for:

* Managing, developing and motivating sales team
* Managing the department’s sales planning, analysis and forecasting revenue projections
* Identifying business opportunities
* Weekly reporting on sales activities to Managing Director
* Monthly sales performance and financial reporting including P&L
* Sourcing new content
* Managing relationships with outside suppliers / photographers, and legal issues pertaining to copyrights
* Assisting Managing Director with projects as required.

To secure this position, you will be able to demonstrate previous sales success and have experience in leading and managing a team. You will have commercial acumen and excellent communication skills with proven ability to drive sales opportunities and motivate sales staff. Photographic and media experience is preferred.

Training can be provided on financial reporting and P&L.

An attractive remuneration package consisting of Base + Super + Commission awaits the successful applicant.
