Girls are not "sent" to Mercy, or deceived into going. It is completely voluntary,only up to the girl. It is very clear from the beginning of the application process that Mercy is a deeply biblical-based treatment center. In fact, they will not accept girls who are in need of serious medical treatment,as they cannot provide such. Mercy has saved the lives of countless girls who have been in and out of "helpful medical treatment" centers and through multiple psychologists and medications, all of which either failed, kicked the girl out when insurance ran out, or gave up on the girl. Because of Mercy, my beautiful best friend is alive and overflowing with hope, joy, and confidence.
