If you want factory outlets (good prices) then the Direct Factory Outlets in Moorabbin (and now in Essendon) are supposed to be good. Bridge Street near the city is also buzzing with factory outlets (haven’t been there lately). Then there are the big centres like Chadstone, Southland, The Glen, Eastland etc where there is a lot of choice but the fashion is off the rack and not unique.
Alternately, if you like to make your own, go into Clegs off Flinders Street and there is a huge array of lucious fabrics.
