Great. A Do-not-call register is up and coming. Hate those telemarketers. But in actual fact we should be pissed at the Australian companies who resorted to promoting their business using these international call centres. Another one of them disrupted my beautiful Satuday morning with a call promoting Roof tile restoration. 10 seconds into going into his selling spiel I interupted and said "Sorry, I'm not interested, good-bye." Another time I was being sold roller shutters for the windows and another time some fire-extinguishers. Who are these Aussie companies? Anyway, I didn't stay on the phone long enough to find out on any of these telemarketing calls...
