I was having problems with the popup windows that you get in firefox when you click on certain links. I found that the windows opened up a smaller window then they should be and their resize capability was somehow restricted or not allowed - and the windows were not resizeable. I found that I couldn't maximise the window either.

Here's the fix for the firefox popup window non-resizeable problem:
Type about:config into the navigation bar.

Then type dom.disable_window_open_feature.resizable

Then right click on the results and choose toggle to change its value to True.

Now all windows will be resizable.
