Great Wall of China Portrait shot

It was absolutely pouring when we visited the Great Wall of China. I was drenched right to the skin, my shoes were full of water and this is about as high as I got in climbing up the stairs.

Talking about drenched - I had my Nikon D70 in my Lowepro Low Nova bag - which has an inbuilt raincoat. Upon arrival to the hotel, to my horror, I discovered the whole bag - inside and out, was wet despite the raincoat - and worse still my equipment was damp... (thankfully it was not WET). I left the equipment and the bag to dry out naturally overnight by the airconditioner.

I guess the 'raincoat' int he Lowepro Low Nova bag is only designed for a light drizzle and not a tropical downfall.

This photo was taken with my K750i. I didn't want to risk my D70 getting wet in the pouring rain!
