How AVG is Anti-Competitive

How AVG is Anti-Competitive - Although I can't complain - its free anti-virus software is good.

"Some potentially incompatible software is currently installed on your computer. In order to continue the installation, please remove the following applications:"

>Norton AntiVirus

If you try to go ahead it then complains with a popup:

"Keeping any potentially incompatible applications may result in several software conflicts or performance loss. Do you really want to proceed?"

I proceeded anyway... I don't even run Norton AntiVirus on that machine anymore, nor update it. I really should uninstall it shouldn't I? But the point is - This AVG upgrade to its version 9 of the Software gives this screen, and to the uninitiated, will promptly delete Norton - eliminating competition.
