Question by Ryan B: How tight should you grip a hockey stick when receiving a pass?
Should you grip it really tight and just bring the blade back with the puck as it’s hitting your stick or should you keep a somewhat loose grip so it will absorb the force and make catching the puck easier? Thanks

somewhat loose so you can absorb the pass. pucks move so fast that when you hold your stick hard when you receive a pass they usually will bounce off just a bit in the angle that you stick is at.
