Kate Bosworth (Catherine Anne Bosworth) is starring as Lois Lane in the upcoming movie release "Superman Returns". Kate was born on 2 January 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Her height is 5' 7 or 1.70 m in meric terms. She suffers from a condition called Heterochromia iridium, which is kind of her 'trademark' - this condition causes her to have one blue eye and one partially blue and partially hazel (sometimes perceived as brown) eye. Ms Bosworth is a champion equestrian and was named #38 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2005 list. In her audiitioning for her first feature movie 'The Horse Whisperer' (1998) she used a family Christmas card photo for the required headshot.

Kate Bosworth had her break in 'The Horse Whisperer' (1998) as Judith, then in 'The Newcomers' (2000) she starred as Courtney Docherty. She then starred in a TV series as Bella Banks in "Young Americans" (2000). Another big film of hers was 'Blue Crush' (2002) as surfer Anne Marie Chadwick. Her upcoming movies are 'Superman Returns' as Lois Lane and 'Seasons of Dust' as Janey.
