Promiscuous Girl Lyrics

Looks like Nelly Furtado is making a comeback after "soaring like a bird".

Promiscuous Girl: Nelly Furtado featuring Timbaland

N: Do I turn you off?
Nope
N: Didn’t think so

How you doin’ young lady
That feelin’ that you givin’ really drivin' me crazy
You don’t haveta play about the joke
I was at a loss of words first time that we spoke

N:If you looking for a girl that’ll treat you right
If you lookin’ for her in the day time with the light

You might be the type if I play my cards right
I'll find out by the end of the night

N: You expect me to just let you hit it
But will you still respect me if you get it

All I can do is try, gimme one chance
What’s the problem I don’t see no ring on your hand

I be the first to admit it, I’m curious about you, you seem so innocent

N: You wanna get in my world, get lost in it
Boy I’m tired of running, lets walk for a minute

Chorus-
Promiscuous girl
Wherever you are
I’m all alone
And it's you that I want

N: Promiscuous boy
You already know
That I’m all yours
What you waiting for?

Promiscuous girl
You're teasing me
You know what I want
And I got what you need

N: Promiscuous boy
Let's get to the point
Cause we're on a roll
Are you ready?

Verse-
N: Roses are red
Some diamonds are blue
Chivalry is dead
But you're still kinda cute

Hey! I can't keep my mind off you

Hyori Lee - Hey Girl - Korean Live Dance Video

We've switched from pinay chicks Vanessa Minillo and Myleene Klass to Korean. Hyori Lee is a Korean Pop (KPop) Diva. Get the live dance video while the link lasts. Hyori Lee went solo in 2003 but was previously a member of a Korean pop group Fin. K.L. (Which is an abbreviation of "Fine Killing Liberty" – which is not entirely correct since the Fin translates to finish i.e. the end) which in the whole means the girl group stands for anything that is killing liberties. As this band was a synthesized pop group, the company behind them chose the name even before they had recruited people for the gig. Hyori Lee was the oldest, which entitled her to be the leader. Fin. K.L. debuted on May 22, 1998with Blue Rain but only hit the big time when "To My Boyfriend" was released. After the group released their fourth album, the group decided to call it quits and go their separate ways.

The Dormitory Boys aka Backdorm Boys YouTube Videos

I first saw these guys a few months ago when Sunrise - Channel 7's breakfast show in Australia aired these videos of these boys dubbed The Dormitory Boys aka Backdorm Boys... Enjoy these YouTube Videos as they mouth the lyrics of "As Long As You Love Me" and "I Want It That Way".

"As Long As You Love Me"

"I Want It That Way"

Mozart's K Number

As an avid classical music listener, I've always wondered what that "K" number was beside Mozart's classical pieces. And by chance I was reading the inside of a CD cover the answer revealed itself. According to the cover, the "K" number that appears after the name of each Mozart piece indicates the approximate order in which Mozart's 626 compositions were created. The "K" number reference system was organised by musicologist Köcel. Perhaps another useless fact to know but interesting.

Sound of Music Soundbyte: My Favourite Things (FavOrite to you Americans)

I was radio surfing the other night, being tired of hearing non stop Hip Hop and RnB from 96.1 fm and then I stumbled upon this station playing experimental music. Sorry I only caught the last 30 secs of the rearranged Sound of Music Piece: "My Favourite Things". It was pretty well done in my opinion. I didn't catch who did it or the radio station that played it though. Pity.

Everwood: "Love song" Episode 2.09 "Just Like The Movies"

We all know Aussie TV is way was behind schedule compared to the US. But Everwood takes the cake. The series is currently shown on Channel 9 on a daily basis during the Summer non-ratings period and is about three years behind the US schedule. The interesting this is that Everwood is actually shown during prime-time in the States but yet here it only gets a daytime slot. Just as Channel 9 screwed loyal viewers to Smallville they screwed us with Everwood. Smallville is also years behind schedule - but thanks to Channel 10 picking up the series we are slowly making progress as Channel Ten shows the program on a bi-weekly basis. (And for you Americans reading this - two points - stop laughing and secondly bi-weekly in Australia means twice a week - not every two weeks; we call something that happens every two weeks fortnightly)

Carlos "Chuckie" Ibay - Filipino Pianist and Vocalist

Last Saturday, Carlos "Chuckie" Ibay performed at Marconi Club for the local Filipino Community Religous Association. Although the accoustics of the hall wasn't very well tuned to accomodate his truly great talents his gift was very apparent and awe inspiring. He played pieces from Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt and Chopin, all without sheet music for he has one striking disability - blindness. So all his music, every tune, harmony and beat is all committed to memory. The music was close to flawless (compared to the pieces I've heard before) but minor mistakes can't take away from his purpose in life and what he has accomplished in the 26 years of his life.

After the intermission the American-Filipino sung classic filipino songs as well as traditional English, Italian and Spanish songs. Again, without sheet music to guide Ibay while playing out these songs on piano or even guiding him has he sung the lyrics in his baritone voice.

"It took years until I finally got pregnant," says his mother. The son of Filipino parents who migrated to the United States in 1971, he was diagnosed as being a 'high-risk pregnancy'. The physician advised his mother, Carmacita, to abort him. The parents, however, disagreed. They were firm in the belief that what God had given them should not be killed. Instead, they chose life. He was born two months premature and was monitored in an incubator, where through a hospital error, he was over-exposed to oxygen and eventually lost his eye-sight.

Hip Hop, RnB and Rap Radio Station sets in Sydney

Who knows if this list below is up to date but this post is to supplement my previous post about the Koori radio and their RnB and Hip Hop set.

I'm listening to 2SWR 99.9FM right now - yet another one of those radio stations that have an RnB/Hip hop set at a random time. What I hate is all the shout outz they give all the time. It gets SO annoying.

If you're at home and can operate Windows Media Player/Winamp or Quicktime then why don't you just tune in to Cerritos All Stars - Are a bunch of filipinos in Cerritos, California that feature 24 hour internet radio. They also feature live sets at certain times of the day and take calls from listeners. The music they play range from the typical R&B, Hip hop and old school to the very odd reggaethon (Sean Paul type music). Not much rap to be heard though. (which is good as I get tired of it easily).
