Enough about blogging about Kate Bosworth... Let's talk about something else. I met Sir William Deane (22nd Governor General of Australia) on the Weekend at St Joseph's College 125th Anniversary. The one line I spoke to Sir William Deane was "Can I please take a photograph of you and your mates?" One nod and i was away taking a few happy snaps of him and the two gentlemen seated beside him. He gave a speech, I wasn't really listening though. I think it was along the lines of how great the school tradition was, and how good the Marist cause was, and how successful their school projects were... and plus the joke below:
He told a Jesuit joke that was a derivative of this one I found on the web (I think his version was when baby Jesus was born):
"A Jesuit, a Dominican, and a Franciscan were walking along an old road, debating the greatness of their orders. Suddenly, an apparition of the Holy Family appeared in front of them, with Jesus in a manger and Mary and Joseph praying over him.
The Franciscan fell on his face, overcome with awe at the sight of God born in such poverty.
The Dominican fell to his knees, adoring the beautiful reflection of the Trinity and the Holy Family.
The Jesuit walked up to Joseph, put his arm around his shoulder, and said, "So, have you thought about where to send the boy to school?""

I wasn't listening to the introductions, so I missed his name the first time around. When I was walking around taking photos, I noticed his name for the first time. it was one of those moments where I knew that I've seen him before, probably in TV, but I couldn't really put a finger on who exactly he was. A google search at home told me who he was.
