Hawkins signed a contract with the Seven Network in 2004 Her first appearances were as a guest presenter on the network's travel show, The Great Outdoors, where she took viewers on tours throughout the world. When she ended her reign as Miss Universe, she became a regular presenter on the show. The Great Outdoors is on Channel 7 on Saturday evenings. I find it interesting that nearly every second week they've got her prancing around in a bikini on some tropical beach. I guess they need a drawcard to interest the male viewers...

Obviously she had just woken up from her long haul flight from LAX. Ms Moore had some concerts and other engagements scheduled in Sydney and around Australia at that time. Bad luck for Enrique Iglesias... he tried to ask Anna Kournikova to marry him several times and got the no-no. So yet again the Iglesias-Kournikova wedding is not happening. Poor guy... I wonder why Anna keeps refusing him? BTW did you know Enrique Iglesias is half Filipino?! His mother is Isabel Preysler who is married to Julio Iglesia.

Spanish pop singer Enrique Iglesias says he has tried repeatedly to convince his girlfriend Anna Kournikova to marry him - with no luck.

Iglesias spoke to reporters at the weekend after arriving in the Dominican Republic for the first of nine concerts planned across Latin America.

Iglesias says he's been involved with the tennis star for at least three years and says she keeps ignoring his appeals to wed. In his words: "I always try, but she pays me no attention."

The Madrid-born artist is the son of crooner Julio Iglesias.

On film or TV, Nora Zehetner (left) and Rachel Bilson (right) have an uncanny resemblance of one another. I think these two girls are lookalikes. It doesn't look like it in the photos (obviously the hair makes a big difference) but on TV they look like one another.

Rachel Lauren Stevens also known simply as "Rachel Stevens" was on April 9, 1978 and is an English singer, actress, and an occasional model. Rachel was former member of the successful pop group S Club (7), she launched a solo recording career and has released seven singles and two albums to date in the UK. Rachel Stevens was born in Southgate, London, Stevens attended Ashmole School in London. At the age of fifteen, she beat out 5000 competitors in a modeling competition sponsored by Just 17 magazine. At the age of nineteen, Rachel Stevens accompanied her brother to an audition in London for a new pop group, which was being put together by Simon Fuller, the one-time manager of the Spice Girls. While waiting for her brother to audition, she was approached by the judges. After many calls and auditions she was chosen as a member of the new group S Club 7, along with Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara, and Hannah Spearritt.

Amanda Leigh "Mandy" Moore (born April 10, 1984) is an American pop singer, songwriter and actress. Moore was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of Stacy, a former news reporter who once worked for the Orlando Sentinel, and Don Moore, a pilot for American Airlines. She grew up in Florida and came to fame as a teenager in the early 2000s, after the release of her teen-oriented pop albums So Real, I Wanna Be with You, and Mandy Moore. She mainly does: Folk, dance-pop, pop rock, bubblegum pop type music. But as time changed her style changed also.

Following the success of the show, in October 2006, a soundtrack CD was released in which she sang eight songs from the show. In December 2007, she was ranked #17 in the list of Forbes Top twenty earners under 25 with an annual earning of US$3.5 million. Miley Cyrus became interested in acting at age nine when the family briefly lived in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her first acting role was as a guest star on her father's television series Doc, in which she played a girl named Kylie. According to Disney Channel Executive Vice President Gary Marsh, Cyrus was chosen for Hannah Montana because of her energetic and lively performance and was seen as a person who "loves every minute of life", with the "everyday reliability of Hilary Duff and the stage presence of Shania Twain".

Runway modelling can be a hazardous occupation. Models often have to wear difficult wardrobes, clothes that simply can't stay on, couture that is too big, stiletto shoes that are impossible to balance on and other hazards on the catwalk. Watch the best five runway model mishaps on YouTube.

This runway model mishap is simply extraordinary. This particular model actually falls through a hole on the runway. The footage of this runway modelling was during LA Fashion Week. The hole was created by by a breakdancing performer who actually broke the runway when he attempted a flip. After the performers had moved off the runway, the runway show started and this particular runway model just walks into the hole and falls straight into it.

This Youtube video has made the rounds... if you've previously missed out, here's the runway model mishap: the professional model falls twice in high heels which were impossible for her to balance. To add to the hilarity of the situation, the video features a news anchor who just couldn't stop laughing at the model's unforunate circumstance.

Leah Dizon is an interesting pinay chick (Pinays are women with a Philippine/Filipino background just like Myleene Klass, Cassie or Vanessa Minillo). She was born in 1986 so that makes her around 21 years old and started her career in US as an import car model. Instead of going through the nude model/porn route that many girls follow, she went and pursued her singing talent and packed her bags to Japan where she has made a career for herself in J-Pop as well as those photobooks that the Japanese enjoy.
