Sydney Morning Herald - Sydney's Broadsheet Newspaper, reporting National and International news

Internet Radio

I enjoy quite a few internet radio stations - mostly because I like a broad range of music depending upon my moods. Another advantage is that many of them have hardly any advertising - so support them if you visit them!

ABC Classical Radio Australia-wide - has a range of programs of interest, ranges from popular classical sets to opera and jazz. I tend to tune in weekend evenings when they feature a bit og jazz.

ABC newsradio - in Sydney it broadcasts on 630AM. I've set this station permanently on my alarm clock radio. No advertising, a rolling news format 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Also has an interesting set late weekend nights on science and technology.

All things considered - is a syndication from the NPR (National Public Radio) network from USA. It is usually broadcast in Australia in newsradio, but if you miss it you can catch it on the web on this website.

Soulful Smooth Jazz - An internet radio station from New York City. Two thumbs up on quality.

Cerritos All Stars - Are a bunch of filipinos in Cerritos, California that feature 24 hour internet radio. They also feature live sets at certain times of the day and take calls from listeners. The music they play range from the typical R&B, Hip hop and old school to the very odd reggaethon (Sean Paul type music). Not much rap to be heard though. (which is good as I get tired of it easily)
