Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009) Tribute.
Michael Jackson has died from a cardiac arrest. He was born August 29, 1958 and is an American recording artist, entertainer, and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music scene at the age of 11 as a member of The Jackson 5 and began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the "King of Pop" in subsequent years, five of his solo studio albums have become some of the world's best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Thriller (1982), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995). In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African-American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and Thriller—credited for transforming the music video into an art form and a promotional tool—helped bring the relatively new channel to fame. Videos such as "Black or White" and "Scream" made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists.

Hunedoara (German: Eisenmarkt; Hungarian: Vajdahunyad) is a city in Hunedoara County, Transylvania, Romania. Hunedoara Castle was the place where Vlad Dracul the Impaler (aka Dracula aka Vlad III of Wallachia) was imprisoned 7 years by Matthias Corvinus (Matthias Kiraly) king of Hungary (aka "the renaissance king") after he was deposed in 1462. The castle received its shape (the way it looks nowadays) mostly in the period between the 15 and 17th centuries. The castle is considered the most impressive and best preserved gothic castle in Romania. The castle is also properly called the "Hunyad Castle". The castle is a relic of the Hunyadi dynasty. In the 14th century, the castle was given to John Hunyadi knyaz Serb, or Sorb by Sigismund king of Hungary as severance. The castle was restored between 1446 and 1453 by his grandson John Hunyadi.
The Castle is known both by the name Corvin's Castle and "Hunyadi Castle". "Hunyadi" is a more internationally recognized name for the same family, "Corvins" being used mostly by Romanians. The Hunedoara Castle is a 14th Century Gothic castle (with Renaissance and Baroque architectural elements mixed in). It was built on old Roman fortifications, on a strategic position, on a rocky cliff at the exit of Zlasti river from a small defile from Poiana Rusca Mountains. Hunedora is evocative, with three huge pointed towers, a drawbridge and high battlements. Five marble columns with delicate ribbed vaults support two halls (1453), the Diet Hall above the Knight's Hall below. The castle wall was hewn out of 30 m of solid rock by Turkish prisoners.
Cars.Gov the new cash for clunkers website was launched last Monday. The government website offers information on how the process of trading an older vehicle for a more-efficient model will work, and urges customers to call dealers to see if they will register for the program. Last Thursday, US Congress sent the $1-billion Cash for Clunkers 2009 bill to President Barack Obama for his signature. The Cash for Clunkers program should put $3,500 to $4,500 in the pockets of about 250,000 people trading in older gas guzzlers for new, more environmentally friendly cars.
The cash for clunkers program is supposed to help get old cars off the road and replace them with newer more safer, fuel efficient vehicles. Here are the rules:
The San Antonio Spurs have traded Milwaukee Bucks forward Richard Jefferson for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas, and Fabricio Oberto. Above is a photo of Richard Jefferson with wife Teresa Lourenco (a model - Teresa Lourenco was born in 1981 in Trinidad.). Richard Allen Jefferson was born June 21, 1980 in Los Angeles and stands at 6 ft 7 in (2.01 m). Jefferson has two years and $29 million remaining on his deal, and the Milwaukee Bucks are dangerously close to the luxury tax threshold. "The two teams have agreed to the deal in principle."
The Milwaukee Bucks agreed to trade Richard Jefferson to the San Antonio Spurs for Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas and Fabricio Oberto a Bucks source told ESPN.com.
The two teams have agreed to the deal in principle. A trade call to make the deal official is coming later Tuesday.
The move gives the Spurs a dynamic wing scorer to play alongside Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili. The Spurs had promised to make their team better this summer and adding Jefferson for role players should give them a huge shot in the arm.

I was watching Rage on ABC the other week when I heard this song playing: Canvas Bags by Tim Minchin. A little slow to build up but it gets hilarious towards the end. I find that Australia is a little slow to the canvas bag game... we're still using plastic bags at the supermarket. But I guess things are slowly changing... Officeworks don't give out bags anymore and Target is phasing their out.
Music Video: Canvas Bags by Tim Minchin Directed by Stephen Leslie, this be the unedited version of Tim Minchin's Environmental Anthem film clip recorded for BBC3's Comedy Shuffle.
I was messing around deleting first or last words in Excel. But now I want to edit those words so they are either all upper case, all lower case or in "proper format" (first letter upper case, subsequent letters lower case). So the plan is to find a formula or a macro to do this all automagically so I wouldn't need to go into each individual cell editing each one. Here is the code you are after:
THIS IS THE FORMULA MACRO CODE IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE ALL THE LETTERS OF YOUR EXCEL CELL INTO UPPERCASE LETTERS:
=UPPER(Cell)
this is the formula macro code if you want to change all the letters of your excel cell into lowercase letters:
=LOWER(Cell)
This Is The Formula Macro Code If You Want To Change All The Letters Of Your Excel Cell Into Uppercase Letters:
=PROPER(Cell)
I was looking at maintaining some excel databases and I needed to delete the first word from every row in a certain column in Microsft Excel. I imagined myself going through every cell and deleting the dratted word but I thought a macro could do that. Better yet there is an excel formula which you can program to get Excel to delete and remove the first word from a cell column/row or even the last word depending on what you need:
Code for deleting the first word in a cell in Excel:
=RIGHT(C2,LEN(C2)-FIND(" ",C2))
Code for deleting the last word in a cell in Excel:
=LEFT(C2,LEN(C1)-2)
