F15e Crash Afghanistan

An American F-15E jet crashed in eastern region of Afghanistan on Saturday, killing two crewmembers aboard the plane, the US military said in a statement. The F-15E crashed at approximately 3:15 A.M. Kabul time while it was conducting coalition operations. The military officials said that the crash of the fighter plane was caused by some mechanical problems, ruling out the possibility of hostile fire at the jet. The F15e crash in Afghanistan occurred after a U.S. helicopter was shot down by Taliban insurgents in the restive southern province of Helmand on Tuesday. At least five people were killed in the attack. (The photo above is a file photo is a 15E crash in England in which the crew survived the crash).

Two crew members died when an F-15E fighter plane assigned to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro crashed in eastern Afghanistan Friday night. The crash of the F-15E came in a month that has already proved the deadliest for Western troops in the course of the nearly 8-year-old Afghanistan conflict. At least 50 coalition service members, including 26 Americans, have been killed so far in July. The highest previous monthly tally for Western troop fatalities in Afghanistan was 46. No fighter jets have crashed in Afghanistan in years. Militants are able to shoot down helicopters with rockets, but are not known to have the anti-aircraft weaponry necessary to bring down a high-flying jet.

How to Build a Laptop Tray for Your Car

I love reading about DIY (Do-it-yourself) projects. In this project Michael Davis built his own laptop tray for his car. In his creative but “ghetto” idea he created a laptop tray out of PVC piping, wooden boards and a little ingenuity and hard work. Why did he do it? Davis does a lot of travelling in his car and travels to many estate sales and auctions. He also often brings along his laptop to keep in touch, and to check what things are worth before buying them at estate sales, yard sales or bidding in auctions. Michael Davis has a broadband access card for his laptop, so he can get online from anywhere.

Davis had always wanted a built-in laptop / notebook computer tray for his car. The commercially made units are pricey and through a little research he found that several models cost close to $300.

The King of Pop's Death

Michael Jackson, or more popularly known as "The King of Pop", surprised and shocked the world with his death at such a young age. He was born on August 26, 1958 and was the youngest of the 7 children. Michael Jackson launched his career as young as 11 years old, as part of the Jackson 5, together with his brothers. He debut as a solo artist in 1971. Michael Jackson was the first African-American to gather together a strong crossover following on MTV with his songs "Beat It", "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" which transformed music videos into art, particularly by introducing and popularizing physically complicated dance techniques like the robot and the moonwalk. The King of Pop's music has become so popular that some of his albums were included in the top world selling records, the "Off the Wall" (1979), "Thriller" (1982), "Bad" (1987), "Dangerous" (1191) and "History" (1995).

Prior to his death, Michael Jackson has been renting a Bel Air home which costs $100,000 per month and was described as a chateau estate with 7 bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces and a theater.
